 | 1 Flask Rating for NU WAVE MEDICAL CENTER PA Comment: I have to say I originally went to Nu Wave because of their half price Wednesdays for uninsured patients. I am on Synthroid medication and must take this every day for the rest of my life. The first visit I needed to renew my prescription and I was set up for lab work through the office. The Dr. told me I could have a full lab work-up for $125.00 so I opted for that to check on all other possible problems. When I went into the office for the bloodwork the office manager/head nurse stated the lab work-up the Dr. had written down was going to cost me over $500.00. I requested what I needed for my thyroid and was charged $125.00. I went back to review my lab results with the Dr. (I was charged for this review) and sat in a room for over 2 1/2 hours. Apparently my labs were lost. I also had a sinus infection and had mentioned this to Chris the nurse. The Dr. popped in 3 times and each time said, "Oh I need to find your labs".
