She claimed to specialize in trauma, yet she made a lot of irresponsible and unethical mistakes that left me feeling more traumatized leaving treatment that I was going in. She altered my medical records, she broke client confidentiality, and she basked in my codependency and fawning. I felt discarded when she abruptly ended treatment, with no exit counseling. "this relationship has no end, I won't abandon you" 1 year later, I am unable to trust mental health clinicians at all due to her 'care'. Buyer beware. Trust your gut if/when it tells you that a provider is not as experienced or competent as they claim to be |
