Just to be clear, I'm speaking of the two Hispanic females that sit at the front desk and also draw blood, along with one Hispanic male that was walking around the lab on that day, Nov. 30, 2012. I was sent by my doctor to have my blood drawn to confirm a diagnosis she had just given that sent my life into a tall spine. That last thing I needed was to be sent to have my blood drawn by a group of seemingly inconsiderate and ignorant fools who give Hispanics a bad name. For starters, the heavy set female that sat at the front desk cringed when she pulled my tissue sample out of the bag that my doctor had given me to take to the lab. If she has issues with disease or blood, she should have chosen another profession. Then as I sat in behind her in a small room waiting for someone to draw my blood, she proceeded to hold a very loud personal conversation with what seemed to be one of her family members. The female that walked into the room to draw my blood was having trouble with it and called out to the one on the phone. She said outloud that she could not find a good vein and as she said that the Hispanic male walked by and said, "So stuck her in the be neck!" And of course like fools, they all laughed to ignorant realize that their behavior was insensitive and offensive. The sad part is that they were the only 3 people running that lab. It makes me afraid to ask about what else goes on there. If you think I'm overreacting, you had to be there. I'm not sure if this is the best place for my complaint to be heard, but I'm also going to be sure and tell my doctor about it. | 1 Flask Rating for Quest Diagnostics - OGA PSC Comment: The level of service and PROFESSIONALISM at the OGA lab in suite #1700 was horrible.
