How to prepare for your laboratory appointment:
Fasting. If you have been asked to fast (abstain from eating), then don't eat or drink anything other than water 8 hours before your blood collection. Check with your doctor about requirements. Fasting is often required for testing glucose levels and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, and HDL).

I think it is ridicules to think that one person can manage this job. Even if you make appointments on line she is not aware of it. She can't draw blood, deal with insurance and make sure she codes each test correctly,answer phones and try to be polite all day when everyone is angry for long waits.Denise was very professional. It's a shame that you treat your techs this way. SHAME ON YOU!
There is no possible way for one person to handle everything.She was very nice of course and did good job with blood draw.people were angry with her because of wait time.She maintained her smile and did the best she could. I think there should be two people at least to handle everything.I think its very unfair to all. She can only do so much with a bunch of angry older people.Shame on Quest
