 | 2 Flask Rating for VALLEY PRESBYTERIAN EMERGENCY MEDICAL ASSOCIATES, INC. Comment: I mistaken went to the emergency for stitches and a tetanus shot because I cut my finger. I opted to get glue stiches vs the traditional stitches. The staff was pleasant with the exception of the office administrators. They gave me documents to sign that read I receive forms and other documents that weren't available. I was forced to stand because their were not seat for patients in the administration room. 2 weeks after my hospital visit I received 2 bills, which I expected. 1 from the hospital and 1 for the doctor's services. After insurance negotiated co-pays were assigned my bill from the hospital was a reasonable $150. My bill from the medical group was $538. I was shocked. I call my insurance company to verify all co-pay and insurance coverages were applied. I questioned the billing codes that read I had in-office surgery (which had not occurred) and the bill read I was seen by a male doctor , which was incorrect. Clear example of PRCE GOUGING. |
