 | 1 Flask Rating for ALLEN P HEAMAN M.D. Comment: This is a direct complaint against Allen P. Heaman. I believe he treated me in a condescending and demeaning manner during my last visit. Here's a description of his behavior: He spent the first half of the session interrogating me on why I thought my injury was "worthy of being seen." That's one of the first things he said to me and that was nearly verbatim. He refused to allow me to explain what happened and instead demanded some sort of thesis statement for why my discomfort was valid. I couldn't convince him to his satisfaction, but after I insisted several times, he eventually gave me space to describe my subjective experience. He then proceeded to pepper me with questions with the intention of targeting every inconsistency he perceived. At one point, Heaman was so incessant and obnoxious with his questions that I actually had to state I wasn't going to explain myself further to get him to stop.
