MARGUERITE WEISBERG LCSW Comment: I would call my insurance and they would inform me, that they cannot speak to me about it and that my therapist needed to speak to them directly. I would inform Ms. Weisberg about that and she would resubmit the insurance claim and get paid in full. All of that happened over six times. Despite my continued objections about this, she would persist on this course of action which is very unprofessional, incompetent and irresponsible. The last and final complaint I had, happened on my last visit to her office. I went to her office like usual, but when I spoke to her, she told me that my insurance had denied her last insurance claim. This happened habitually as noted above but never became a problem until now. But this time, she refused to continue my therapy session, unless I paid out of pocket for it. The situation was her fault, but yet she was attempting to hold me accountable. Therefore, I would never recommend her services to anyone. I would strongly advise anyone to not use her. |  | 1 Flask Rating for MS. MARGUERITE WEISBERG LCSW Comment: She was my therapist on a weekly basis. Her office is in a basement of her home. Bathroom is inside her office which is very strange. Most therapists keep bathrooms in the waiting room area, so you don't need to disturb anyone. Every time I went to use it- it was out of service. This happened every week for over three months. People unable to pee & poop is extremely rude. Nobody should suffer from a simple plumbing fix. Third, I have “United healthcare community plan” which is under Medicaid. Professionals are expected to know all types of medicaid they use for payment. Despite that, Ms. Weisberg repeatedly denied being part of Medicaid. But she received medicaid payments all the time. However, she would repeatedly (over 6 times) send inaccurate or missing information to the insurance which resulted in her not getting paid. Instead of correcting the problem immediately, she would tell me to "fix" the problem. I would call my insurance and they would.... |
