 | 1 Flask Rating for LabCorp Patient Service Center Comment: I visited this lab on November 17. The phlebotomist, though polite and engaging was rushed and caused a serious injury when she pierced through the vein into muscle tissue. This caused a severe hematoma and subsequent massive bruise. I tried calling to report this incident but I cannot get through. I called the 800 number and spoke to a supervisor named Susan who said she would email the lab about the incident. I work in a hospital and was encouraged by several nurses to go to a Doctor. I went this morning and the injury was confirmed. I have numerous photos taken between Thursday the 17th and yesterday the 21. The phlebotomist who drew my blood needs serious retraining and should not be allowed to draw blood until she gets that retraining. |
