 | 2 Flask Rating for ERIC NATHAN SMERNOFF PH. D. Comment: His quality of work is unknown, because we never really was aware of ANY services he did, his business practices are NOT. His business office delayed billing my wife for services rendered in a area hospital until they were delinquent, then turned them over to a collection agency without giving us the ability to pay them. He lost over 90% of the billed charges because of his office's poor business practices. Upon talking to the collection agency, they did not even know what the charges were for or who originally billed us. I finally was able to piece it all together by talking to the hospital and Aetna. Upon contacting his billing office, they were rude, inept and unwilling to provide us a bill for the charges so we could pursue payment to him. Beware of doctors who know NOTHING about their own business practices. You are SCREWED when you do business with this type of individual / company. The Hippocratic Oath and The Golden Rule obviously do NOT extend to medical billing offices! There is NO sympathy practiced there. |
