 | 1 Flask Rating for FRANK L GOBER DDS PA Comment: Do not go to this dentist/ Deerfield Dentist Services. After going in for a routine cleaning..I was presented with a bill for 232.00 for scaling, an antibiotic (in mouth) and a rinse they charged 20.00 for when they said they were giving it to me and put it in the complimentary bag. I was only in the chair for a half hour. Scaling? I have never had any gum problems...ever! And the new dentist told me that my gums were fine. Because I have a DMO and they are not paid for cleanings...they said I needed all this scaling..which I didn't. And i needed to come back every 3 months. The dentist also gave me an estimate for dental work for almost 4000.00 that I would have had to pay, even with the insurance. He was 1000. more than the new dentist I went to and love. A few girls in my office go there and they were all told the same thing with the scaling and told they needed to come back every 3 months. They also gave estimates for dental work to one coworker for 6000. and another for 2500. We only get two free cleanings a year on the plan...so because they are not paid for cleanings, cavities or xrays, or exams, they get you to come back so they can get money from you. The office is old and it did not feel clean to me. The one girl Jodi is a real bitch. Even though I am making monthly payments....she keeps sending me letters threatening collections. I spoke with a health advocate who spoke to this Jodi and she too said that Jodi was very rude on the phone. Don't go there...worst office ever! Not even worth the 1 star I had to click to submit this. They only cared about what would make them the most money. |
