 | 2 Flask Rating for MS. ODILE MCKENZIE LCSW Comment: From my experience in therapy. I know that a client looks for that human element from their therapist. Which creates a comfortable and trusting environment, which helps make the client feel more willing to open up and share with their therapist the things that burdens them. And it is possible for a therapist to show their personality by being more of a human, then just a professional title. While still being appropriate and staying within the guidelines of the therapist client relationship. But this therapist seem to have fail to learn and/or realize that. She seems emotionally distant and stoic. She asks the same questions too often. Which appears as if she doesn't really listen. She constantly disagrees with what you say, and calls it challenging you, when it feels more like she's disregarding you. At limes she just appears bored and uninterested. She often complain about her job, which is the only time she actually shows alittle bit of that human element. But since the client is the job, doing it so much in front of you makes you feel like she doesn't want to be there. There were many times when i just felt worse after the session with this therapist then i didbefore the session began. Button line. After meeting this therapist. I've learn that there are two types of therapists. Those who do the job so that they could help people. And those who helps people just to do a job. In other words. Those who shows that they care. And those who don't. This therapist is the latter. |
