1 Flask Rating for PEF CLINIC II LTD Comment: No Comments | 1 Flask Rating for PEF CLINIC II LTD Comment: I was in the clinic located at 2850 S Wabash RM 203 where Dr. Friedell is the president. I was there with my nephew for a follow up. He is 2 months old. When I walked in and approached the reception, the lady behind the counter didn't look up nor give any greetings. I stood there for a while before she asked me to sign in without any eye contact. She was looking at the computer monitor the entire time. After I checked in and handed her the insurance information, the reception lady told me she needed to check the insurance, at this time, she still didn't look at me once. I sat down and wait. 15 minutes later, a nurse came out and called my nephew's name. I answered and after I picked up the baby and the car seat then turn around, the nurse was already disappeared. I got into the office door and just stood there because I didn't know which room I should go to, nor there is anybody to ask. Finally my nephew's doctor, Dr. Shulruff walked out and directed me to where the nurse was. I set the baby down and the nurse was minding her business without given any instruction. I waited for few minutes and asked her what do we need to do. She answered the she needed to weight the baby. I asked her that do I need to remove the baby's outer jacket, she answered, oh yeah. Then I asked should I set the baby on the scale, etc... Basically I have to ask for every single step without the nurse given any direction. But before any thing was done, the receptionist came in and informed us that we couldn't see the doctor because the insurance changed my nephew's primary care doctor. So we went back to the lobby and I asked the receptionist for the phone number for the insurance company so I can find out why they switched the doctor, but the receptionist responded that she didn't know the number, which she just used the number not long ago to confirm with the insurance. I insisted that she knew the number and asked her to look it up for me, which she gave me the nasty attitude and tried to look up the number for me. The entire time, she still didn't look at me once. When she found the insurance company's number, she put out two fingers and asked me for the piece of paper that she gave me earlier with the new doctor's info, so she can write the phone number down. I put the piece of paper between her fingers and without look at me, she didn't catch the paper and the paper felt onto the table. The receptionist then just stood there and continue staring at the computer monitor and had no intention to pick up the paper. I was upset and picked up the paper and put it right in front of her. Then Dr. Shulruff came out and I complained to her and asked for the receptionist's name, but the doctor told me to ask the receptionist, which who refused to tell me. I walked out the clinic without accomplishing anything but hands full of disappointments and missed treatments. I was glad that the insurance company switched the doctor, maybe it knew that the service in this clinic was up to no good. |
