 | 1 Flask Rating for PLAY THERAPY OF THE PINES, PLLC Comment: As a parent, I feel it’s important to share my direct experience. Both of my daughters are clients at this practice. According to court records and county property information, their adoptive mother now resides in Megan Numbers’s home, along with my daughters. While Megan is not their direct treating therapist, she is the owner of the practice and, to my knowledge, was involved in helping place one of my daughters at the Barry Robinson Center. In my opinion, this creates a profound conflict of interest: a clinic owner having her clients live in her home, while also influencing major treatment decisions, blurs professional boundaries that parents should expect to be maintained by a licensed counselor. After that same daughter was released from the Barry Robinson Center, her adoptive mother faced a legal charge related to withholding prescribed medication. Separately, the Army investigated the same incident involving a physical push. I personally informed Megan and one of her employees |
