MERLE MORGENSTERN LCSW Comment: I have to say that Merle did a great disservice to me as a family therapist, treating me with the wrong diagnosis and supporting my very destructive mother. I was not bipolar but have suffered from PTSD from a lot of trauma and a brutal marcissistivc mother. Merle was a bit like my mother, rather flamboyant and kind of an actress. People trust these professionals and don't realize just how much they victimize their "mentally ill " patients, instead of seeing them for their circumstacex and who they are. The great crusaders of WPIC, labeling and keeping people " mentally ill." Sorry, but in my experience, she did nothing for me and is not relevant in my life right now. I have no contact with my destructive mother and don't really want to have anything more to do with WPIC, particularly as it relates to trauma. |
