 | 5 Flask Rating for KERRY SCHMIDT Comment: Having found myself face to face with an adolescent who was completely anxiety ridden, I was given her name. I was desperate. She didnt accept my insurance so she gave me referrals. Apparently I wasn't alone in this boat and every therapist was booked. I felt a level of comfort with her and called her back. She must have heard my desperation and decided to work with me to see my daughter. (great surprise was that she could accept my insurance- a bonus, but I would have gone nonetheless). She helped ME, help my daughter. She is honest and straightforward. She CARES. When there was a time that she thought that maybe she wasn't enough, she said so, gave us options and maybe that was what my daughter needed, not that all kids will fall into this slot, but, she never gave up. She gave us the tools we needed to get thru the tough time and til this day, though not in her schedule, she continues to call to follow up and let us know she is there. I am forever grateful to her. |
