 | 5 Flask Rating for DIAMOND LIFE HEALTH CARE, INC. Comment: Staff are very kind and treat the residents as family; staff appear to love their people and work versus working for a paycheck. Clients are clean, cared for, offered extras like a 'community' pet, a lot of activities, events, and support. The clients needs are exceeding. Hesitant to have our loved one placed here, we could not be more happy and have been since about 10 days after placement. Diamond Life is a 'diamond in the rough,' and what it may appear to be at first glance is NOT reality. Diamond Life IS a great place that the residents are safe, loved, cared for, and feel all of that by the staff. As family of a client living there, this is the first time we do not worry about anything as we know Diamond Life is providing exception care. THAT IS SOMETHING TO SAY because our family member has had a lot of lifetime placements; it's a HUGE compliment; it is the truth, and written by a family member of a resident, requested by NO ONE. We are providing our honest opinion because we want to share how fantastic this facility is. This place provides hope and a reason to continue for our loved one; goals, end in sight; hope to get more emotionally healthy and be the best a person can be. We have been very surprised. Montezuma is a very nice community as well; it appears the community does not even know how great Diamond Life actually is, and how they are perceived by professionals throughout the state and loved ones which is very unfortunate because MONTEZUMA has a great facility which it should support and assist as it is one of few such places left in Iowa AND it exceeds all the big named places throughout the state and their track record of success of clients able to 'move on' shows. Diamond Life is better than anyone may think and we would place our loved one there again and again. And, we do brag about how great Diamond Life REALLY is. Thank you. |
