ALLEN ARIA DC Comment: I was treated by Dr. Allen Aria, DC, at Desert Bloom Family Medicine located on 103rd Ave and Indian school rd. whom was very helpful finically. I have been in extreme amounts of pain and diagnosed with a particular condition, suddenly, which has put me out of commission. I originally began to see Dr. Aria only because his office is in closer proximity to my home. The first year was great, no issues, other than the procedures were short and less informative than others I have attend with other physicians, which I took with a grain of salt since I was paying less. Although, I do believe that if you are going to help someone you should do everything completely and ethically or simply not offer services. I completed my treatment to the allowed maximum number of Chiropractic visits my insurance allots in a given year. The following year I requested to begin services; now that my insurance renews the visit limitation. The first visit I was sat down and we negotiated the amount of visits it would take to hit my deductible. After letting me know that, although, it was against his better judgment and he would be receiving the short end of the stick finically, he would agree to help. On the grounds that I would pay $25.00 per week and after roughly 17-18 visits my deductible would have been eaten up and I would continue my visits with mandatory RSVP free or I would be charged with lot more than previously mentioned. I assume that was his strong arm move to obtain commitment for me. After two visits I was scheduled for 10:00am but had to wait for my appointment for 45mins to an hour before leave without being treated. Dr. Aria likes to text his patients with their permission; he texted messaged me with a deal that my next week would be free of charge. That next week he was sick and he allowed me to come in for muscle treatment but forget the arrangement and requested money from me. I quickly reminded him and after stating he never agreed to that arrangement he then didn't charge me. I shouldn't have to argue with my doctor. This is where it gets awkward… I later text him my intention to no longer participate with treatment at his location, I was assured he would try and charge me for the 3 out of 5 times he actually treated me. I called him on his request and he aggressively stated that I should be grateful and that no other Doctors would help me as he did. That because he allowed me to be treated at his facility that I should not have an opinion regarding how he keeps his records or agreements made to his patients. He then yelled at me some more and gracefully let me know I was not longer welcome at his office. I guess he forgot that I had already relinquished my participation. I would recommend that anyone who is a first time patient visit at least 2-3 doctors to get an idea how chiropractic offices operate; then build an opinion on the practices of Dr. Allen Aria. I was and still am grateful that he extended his hand to help but was not pleased to see the true colors once transparent; in addition I never was relieved of pain. I have indeed found a more reliable, More Professional, and Better operated institution. |
