My wife, Carol Nollenberger was at the Emergency Room at the Salisbury hospital on October 22, 2016 and we recently received an Explanation of Benefits notice from Blue Cross / Blue Shield stating that additional information was needed to process the claim. The Patient Account number is RMV40023279101 and the Claim Number is 16342MA2584. The problem is when the hospital filed the initial claim they listed Blue Cross / Blue Shield as her primary provider and Medicare as the secondary provider. Actually, Medicare is the Primary and Blue Cross / Blue Shield is secondary. I have placed several phone calls and left my number buy no one has called back. It is very discouraging when you have to call and cannot get anyone to assist you and no one returns a call.
