 | 1 Flask Rating for DR. ROBERT H SWIETARSKI M.D. Comment: Dr. Robert H. Swietarski verbally abused our 87 year old mother, Jean E. Brown, when he saw her for a consultation on January 25, 2018 at the Laurel Manor clinic. When Dr. Swietarski entered the consultation room, he greeted our mother by saying brusquely, “You’re the reason I’m not going to get lunch today.” She thought he might be joking, but he went on to chastise her for missing her appointment the previous week. Our mother responded, “I’m sorry; I’m 87 years old and sometimes I get my dates mixed up.” From here, Dr. Swietarski accused her of demanding special privileges because of her age and told her “I’m sick and tired of you snowbirds coming down here and wanting special treatment!” In addition, he told her, “I’m 57 years old, and I don’t ask for special treatment!” My mother asked Dr. Swietarski why he was being so mean, and he told her that, “My girlfriend says I can be mean to anyone, as long as I’m not mean to her!” |
