Bait & Switch. |  | 1 Flask Rating for JUPITER IMAGING ASSOCIATES INC Comment: Inaccurate and incompetent billing. They code for diagnostic instead of preventative. My signed authorization only allowed preventative services. They ignored call from Niedland Breast Center that confirmed they used wrong code. They keepsending bills. Next stop Florida Consumer Services and Florida Attorney General. Clearly they prefer fraudulent billing to correct billing for services authorized. |  | 1 Flask Rating for JUPITER IMAGING ASSOCIATES INC Comment: The billing for this company is horrendous. We are forced to use their service because our physicians are on the staff at Jupiter Medical Center and that hospital has not taken any action that I am aware of, to have the billing company for Jupiter Imaging Assoc. Inc. end their practice of overbilling patients. I have been erroneously billed for charges paid by my secondary insurance company on at least six occasions. On one occasion after many unsuccessful attempts to have Jupiter Imaging Assoc. Inc. acknowledge their overbilling and correct their records, I contacted the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The Commissioner's office on my behalf contacted the company, and only then did they cease their unfounded claims for reimbursement. I am now faced with a similar situation and hope that the company will acknowledge their error sooner than later and eliminate the need of a my having to contact government agencies in order to stop the fraud. |
